It is situated on the northern point of seven acres of beautiful Oxford countryside. The southern border is skirted by the river Ock.
The original buildings are more than three centuries old and on foundations much older. To the north is believed to be an old Roman Temple and beyond this an old Roman burial ground.

From the terrace you overlook the beautiful garden.
The garden is a mass of colour, being well stocked with flowers, shrubs and fruit trees. there are also large cascading ponds and fountains.
